Job Summary

As the Marketplace Support Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational excellence of our marketplace channels. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an organized, detail-oriented environment and enjoys using technology to optimize processes. You’ll be responsible for pulling and analyzing selling reports, ensuring sales and inventory data is accurately reflected across systems, and communicating these insights to the appropriate internal teams.

In addition to managing backend logistics, you will serve as the front line of communication with customers across multiple marketplace platforms, ensuring timely and professional responses that reflect our brand values. This position requires a natural problem-solver who proactively identifies opportunities for increased efficiency and is driven to implement organizational improvements that enhance team performance.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Data Flow Management

  • Execute effective inventory management processes by ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Pull, analyze, and distribute sales performance reports to inform merchandising, operations, and leadership teams
  • Monitor and update inventory status across internal systems and marketplace platforms in real time
  • Identify data inconsistencies and collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot sync or listing errors

Customer Service Operations

  • Oversee customer communications across all marketplace platforms, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic responses
  • Implement and uphold customer service standards that align with brand voice and values
  • Resolve escalations and issues related to orders, returns, and listings with a proactive, solution-oriented approach

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with merchandising, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure alignment across product lifecycle, from intake to sale
  • Communicate marketplace trends and customer feedback to internal stakeholders to guide strategy and improvements

Marketplace Listings Management

  • Publish and optimize product listings across third-party marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Poshmark, Recurate-powered sites)
  • Ensure listings are accurate and compliant with platform guidelines, including pricing, product descriptions, imagery, and categorization

Process Optimization & Special Projects

  • Document and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all marketplace support activities, especially reporting and customer workflows
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency
  • Participate in or lead special projects that advance marketplace capabilities, such as automation, tool adoption, or platform testing
 

Requirements: 

  • 3–4 years of experience in data entry and customer service roles
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns and trends through accurate data reporting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; adept at balancing competing priorities
  • Experience working with various sales reporting tools and data analytics platforms
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management
  • Comfortable adapting to new tools and experimenting with automation or reporting improvements
  • Excellent written communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, exempt position.  This position is not eligible for overtime.  Work hours are typically 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday.
