Job Summary
The Director of Social Commerce will be the architect and operator of Revive’s social commerce strategy, responsible for owning and scaling live streaming, social media, and influencer-driven growth. This role is highly hands-on—you’ll both set the strategy and execute it, especially in the early stages, while building the foundation for a future team.
You’ll launch and grow a live selling program that converts, build an owned social audience, and create an experience that drives engagement, sales, and customer acquisition. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of commerce, content, and community—and wants to build from the ground up.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Channel & Performance Leadership
- Own end-to-end live selling strategy and execution across multiple live streaming platforms.
- Scale show volume and performance: grow from current cadence to a robust weekly schedule that delivers against GMV and ASP goals.
- Define curation strategy for show inventory, owning the selection and allocation of goods.
- Build and execute audience engagement playbooks—leveraging promotional tactics, platform algorithms, and community-building strategies.
Talent & Show Ops
- Source, hire, and coach streamers and operators, ensuring talent is aligned to brand tone and trained for high-conversion shows.
- Oversee live show execution hands-on: from prep to post-show fulfillment, including set design and bid management.
- Create and optimize SOPs for scaling show operations and implement process improvements for consistency and efficiency.
Social Media & Content Strategy
- Own the launch and growth of Revive’s social presence across multiple channels.
- Build and lead the social media function, including strategy, content calendar, and engagement plans.
- Develop high-converting, brand-aligned content that drives traffic to live shows and D2C channels.
- Identify and activate influencer partnerships to expand reach and brand authority.
- Implement audience growth strategies, leveraging trends, paid media, and organic engagement tactics.
Analytics & Strategic Insights
- Track and report KPIs across GMV, STR, ASP, CAC, follower growth, and engagement.
- Build dashboards and frameworks to analyze live show and social content performance.
- Present strategic recommendations to leadership to optimize channel mix and accelerate growth.
Who you are:
- Hands-on Builder + Strategic Leader: Ready to launch and scale from zero, doing the work while building the team.
- Live Selling Expert: Deep experience running high-performing live commerce programs (Whatnot, TikTok, or equivalent).
- Social Growth Pro: Proven success launching or scaling a brand’s social presence from the ground up.
- Operator + Visionary: You think in processes but act with creativity—balancing speed, quality, and results.
- Data-Driven Storyteller: You use insights to craft compelling strategies and execute with precision.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years in social commerce, with at least 3 years managing teams.
- Demonstrated success in building social media presence and growing engaged communities.
- Track record of scaling live selling into a major revenue channel.
- Ability to hire, manage, and mentor talent across social, content, and live streaming.
- Strong understanding of fashion or adjacent lifestyle categories is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- 10% - 15% Travel Time

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt position. This position is not eligible for overtime. Work hours are typically 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday.
